Global Women Asia Fellows and Advisors Convene with Former U.S. Ambassadors in Singapore

Global Women Asia’s Singapore-based fellows and advisors gathered on May 1 for a luncheon discussion with former U.S. Ambassador for International Communications and Information Policy, Phil Verveer, and former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues, Melanne Verveer. From the regional energy crisis driven by the war in Iran and the upcoming U.S.–China summit in Beijing to AI innovation and concerns about the future of work, GWA fellows and advisors shared perspectives and insights from across Asia, while both ambassadors offered Washington, D.C. viewpoints to deepen mutual understanding.
